Change Namecheap Nameservers
Use this guide when a domain is registered in Namecheap and needs to use Restorick Media nameservers.
Namecheap also publishes its own support article for registering personal nameservers: How do I register personal nameservers for my domain?
Before You Start
You need access to the Namecheap account that owns the domain.
Set the domain to these nameservers:
nelci.ns.cloudflare.comviddy.ns.cloudflare.com
Change Nameservers in Namecheap
- Sign in to your Namecheap account.
- Open Domain List from the left-hand menu.
- Find the domain you want to update and select Manage.
- In the Nameservers section, open the nameserver dropdown.
- Select Custom DNS.
- Enter each Restorick Media nameserver into its own nameserver field.
- Select the checkmark or Save button to apply the change.
After Saving
Nameserver changes usually start working within a few hours, but DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours.
Do not remove the domain from Namecheap after changing nameservers. Namecheap remains the registrar, while DNS is handled by the configured nameservers.
